Education Internship at Escape Artists

Escape Artists, an arts education and theatre production company, with offices just off Brick Lane in London and also in the heart of Cambridge, seeks an enthusiastic and committed individual to join their small team as an Education Assistant. The post holder will be required to assist the Education and Services Director of the company with development of education projects.

Duties to include: To assist the Education and Services Director of the company, and other employees of the company, in the development and management of the company’s education, training and mentoring projects. To assist in the creation of arts-infused accredited education programmes. To provide reports on the effectiveness of the company’s education, training and mentoring programmes.

Applicants will need to have experience of office work, some form of project management, be competent computer users, have a good telephone manner and an ability to work confidently in a wide variety of settings.

The number of days to be worked each week is not fixed. However, we will expect all applicants to stay with the company for a minimum of 3 months. The internship is unpaid but we do offer travel costs and expenses.

This post forms part of Escape Artists Volunteering Programme, which is designed to support people wishing to further a career within the arts and creative sector. Applicants to the Volunteering Programme must demonstrate a commitment to the aims and objectives of the company (see our website for more information) and to their own personal learning.
