Arts and Business Research and Evaluation Intern

Arts & Business - Research and Evaluation department is looking for a self-motivated and organised intern to overhaul and maintain its library and online resource centre. This is an autonomous role, which will include all of most of the following tasks:

* Logging magazines and journals as they arrive
* Checking magazines and journals for relevant material and disseminating it through the intranet
* Keeping subscriptions up-to-date
* Expanding the resource centre - acquiring relevant books, journals, magazines and other materials
* Dealing with external customers using the resource centre
* Maintaining visible presence of reading materials around the office
* Sending out books and materials for regional loan
* Working with REI to maintain a record of internal and external documents published by A&B

The successful applicant will be required to work one day a week for an initial three month period. Flexible working is available with this post, travel expenses will be paid and appropriate training provided.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to gain valuable experience of information and library management in a not-for-profit environment.
