Futurecity is seeking a motivated individual for the position of freelance Art Project Manager to join our small and busy office.

Responsibilities include
* Research and concept development, including compiling written proposals for specific projects
* Liaising with project teams, such as architects, engineers and galleries
* Meeting with and presenting to clients, project teams and planners
* Compiling visual presentation material and working with graphic designers
* Preparing briefs for artists and other members of the design team
* Engaging in current developments in contemporary art
* Linking proposals and projects into current developments in relevant public policy and client’s objectives
* Commission and contract artists and other suppliers
* Manage delivery of projects
* Think laterally and strategically and be responsive to shifts in project priorities
* Identify opportunities for project expansion, new business and contacts for Futurecity
* Budget management at a range of levels from 10K - 2million
* Evaluation and reporting at key project milestones
* Represent Futurecity at appropriate events
